I've recently also started encoding videos and temperature reaches 90° with fans at full speed for as long as the video is encoding - if this is considered safe behaviour, I think it should be no problem running the laptop at 65°. Or is it considered best practice to always have the fans running as much as possible to keep CPU temperatures as low as possible? It is normal for the processor to reach 65-70°C while the processor does not exceed Tjunction limit (105°C). Of course fan speed control is required to achieve optimal thermal performance; such cooling solution is provided in this case by the computer manufacturer. So, the processor led online is not yet exceeding Tjunction but since this system has been used for some time, I recommend you checking that the fan vents are not obstructed and perhaps you can also get more information regarding what is considered to be normal fan speeds for this model; dust may accumulate over time. I have come to the conclusion that my processor is bad. I have changed the motherboard, ram, ssd and the power suplly and still get the same MEMORY MANAGEMENT error. I have checked all of the settings in the bios and are fine. I have had this machine for 3 years and never had this problem until recently. The only thing that is still original is the cpu and I still get the exact same errors. Is there an app that will test the memory manager on an i7?
