Hi, A building I look after has a JSB firedex 9000 panel, one of the zones has a callpoint with broken glass, How can I reset the unit without replacing the glass, the building is empty therefore I'm not bothered about replacing the glass ? So I need to do something at the call point or the control panel, Ive tried pressing reset but that just silences the fire alarm. Any help much appreciated, about to pull the fused spurs out as the beep is deafening! dream home interiors Kind Regards, Sean Attached File(s) Thumbnail(s)
Out of intrest, why is the building empty? dream home interiors
If the system is no longer in use why is it not powered dream home interiors down? You can either link the mcp in the backbox, replace the glass, turn the glass around, isolate the zone or power down. I would personally replace the glass just in case the system is occupied dream home interiors in future and the next engineer has no little surprises on his first visit!!!
