Granted Come in Quito we put all luggage at the VVOB and we left for the Ministry of Education to give a presentation on the didactic materials. We discussed our observations of (mathematics) education in Ecuador, discussed some issues and explained how our materialenkit those problems to do something. They responded very interested and excited, asked many questions ... and seemed very aware of the problem. As they work here in the first year already to 100, while the children but are largely unaware of what they are doing and have little understanding of numbers. Also ensure activity of the children is very difficult in classes of 36 or 40 children. Therefore, we have a lot of individual hampstead lighting cards, ideas for different methods hampstead lighting worked in our manual. We already talk about our project. Our photo exhibition about people in San Pablo, we want to organize the benefit of a project in which we distribute the kits with educational material about different schools of the region. Through evaluations we also get a picture of how it manages to work with the materials in the classroom. The intention is that the kits both go to schools in the city as to schools in remote rural areas, where there is often only one or two teachers for the whole school. The money that we collected at the dessert buffet and the international party will go to this project.
