Hi richard ferber everyone, From reading this site and several books reccomended here, it has become richard ferber really clear to me that we desperately need to increase our savings. I don't think we can do that very well by just cutting back. I am currently a stay at home mother with two small children. We are living well but not extravegantly on one income but when I run retirement scenarios it doesn't look like we will really be able to retire comfortably. My husband has no pension and no 401k match at work. For lifestyle reasons we would really like for me to continue to stay at home and we would love to have more children. If I could just put a little more money into savings each month it would help. So I was wondering richard ferber if any of you can point me to any legitimate way to earn money from home? Thank you for listening. richard ferber Cat. my brother's richard ferber family are in the same position as you... i'll give you the same advice... in home daycare. you have 2 at home now... what's 2 more? or 4 more? (easy for me to say). steady income, no scams, somewhat flexible (get to stay home). you didn't list any specialized skills you may have. my general rule of thumb is that any emails, banner ads, signs on roads, richard ferber ads in newspapers or on tv promising any in home income are scams to be avoided. so that leaves daycare or some specialized skills you can do from home, most likely through the phone and/or internet. either that or weekend or night jobs out of the home by either you or SO.
I think there are some good opportunities, but they still depend on what skills you have to offer (i.e. they are education-dependent). Do you have any experience or relevant education that could qualify richard ferber you for a stay at home job? I think a lot of families are going through this. It's almost impossible for middle class families to make it on one earner. My wife and I both work and have chosen to forego children in order to make it financially (i.e. retire at age 65-70). richard ferber I'd personally be uncomfortable with her working and raising a kid. First of all, and maybe not a positive answer, is don't have any more kids in the near future. Nothing bothers me more than people who cannot afford richard ferber it, having more kids. A buddy of mine just got married, in his early 20's, and just started out on his own business as a Farmer's agent, and his wife immediately got pregnant. It really depends on what skills you have. Please elaborate if you want true help. There are many things you can do, in the sales arena. Part time insurance sales if you get a license. Telemarketing, where they pay you per lead you can generate. If you can type very fast, you can do transcription work from home. I believe that is a well paying job if you can find a good one. Remote richard ferber secretaries are also becoming richard ferber popular if you can find some big wigs to hire you do handle their schedules or daily life from afar. Some airlines richard ferber (jet blue comes to mind) have booking richard ferber agents that work from home. We live comfortably, provide them everything they need (not necessarily everything they want) and have put money away for their college educations. We are also debt free, except for our mortgage. I would never have children that I could not afford to provide for. However, if i did find away to bring in extra income, then I would love to have more children int he future.
