0 Hello Intend to buy me a flash system, and have found a few solutions that work fine for a livable price. My problem is that the packages are so similar that I think I would hear in here if anyone knew of these two systems and what you would recommend. The choice is between: Elinchrom Style FX 400/400 kit, http://www.exposervice.no/index.php?page=Style+FX+Sett&am...nr=EL20649 and Bowens Esprit Gemini 500 kit, http:// www.fotovideo.no/aspx/prdinfo.aspx?plid=13579 Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
0 Hello - I have a set of Elin Chrome 600 Watt - sets you refer to is a bit weaker. I have a small studio of about 30 m2 - then my set more than powerful enough. Exposervice servicing o on the equipment and I am very pleased with the work / price on this. One thing I look at Bowens is that it has 250 w instillingslys - my is 150 W, but I would have liked more - it can be useful in other contexts and - say for example video. Otherwise, you should look at the size of the reflectors - I replaced mine with the larger one that came with my package. You are certainly pleased with both sets, but more later ...
0 Elin Chrome advertise that they have the same bayonet since far down in the 70s. There is a point if you have additional equipment or perhaps an extra lamp that is powerful. When will all the accessories fit and forth. I bought Visatec few years ago. OK lights also, but the problem with them is that they can not be adjusted over so many blenders, only whole, half and quarter strength. In confined spaces experience I know that even if I turn the brightness at minimum, they provide so much light that the aperture selection will be very limited, usually 8 or 11 at ISO100, and there is often little small aperture for example. ulextra portrait photo. So one factor to look for when choosing is how far down you can adjust the lights. Setting Lights are also mentioned. If it is too weak, you need a completely dark room to get something from it.
0 Both brands, but perhaps especially Elinchrom is known to be of good quality. Although I use Elinchrom and can unreservedly recommend it. They are sturdy and well built, and you get an incredible amount of additional equipment to them. Among other things, they have just launched a cheap wireless (radio controlled) trigger set (approximately 1600 million) which works great. It is a blessing to drop and trip over the cable between ulextra camera and flash. Elinchrom also has some lovely large soft boxes, ulextra up to 180 cm diameter, which gives a fabulous soft light. Another point to consider is service and support. Exposervice have skilled professionals who give you help when you need it, and they also have their own workshop.
0 Have you seen the d-lite ulextra 400, then you get 2 pieces 400 watt lamps to 7, 5000. 2 soft boxer. Having set themselves, and are very happy. The lights have built-in fan, but I have been commissioned and lots of pictures instantly. Have never had problems with overheating. They are digitally adjustable ulextra from 2.0 to 6.0. Auto dumping. And in addition, you can buy a battery pack from inovatronix who work at D-lite's costs in 2500 finished tollet into Norway. Thus, a portable flash system for under ten patches. Plus it's much easier than Fx series.
0 Hello Thanks for any input! Now I've also got tips on Hensel Expert Pro 500 from Askim fagimport - http://www.mamiya.no/ plant costs just over 4000, - more but have included 300w illuminator (Bowens / Elinchrom has 250w). Hensel light intensities are adjustable over 6 blenders in the tenth step of displaying digital strength, strain relief for the power cable. Not sure how many blenders Thurs the 2nd systems fail. Is this system worth the difference ulextra in price? Has not the world's biggest budget to spend ...
Have both Bowens and Hensel and tried Elin Chrome and Visatec ulextra (farnes.no) Hensel has the benefit of 300W illumination and very solid and relatively light flashes. Visatec is also lightweight. Besides setting the light is proportional to the intensity of the flash, better than Bowen's. There must also adjust ulextra separately for flash intensity and illumination. There are also battery pack Hensel now, albeit quite expensive. Hensel (askim.no) is very good at service. Sending flash from me on Tuesday, back on Friday / Saturday. (The service is almost always caused myself, overturned racks, etc.) have taken about 100,000 ulextra images with Hensel and very little trouble. Bowens (with battery pack) is a lower-cost total solution. ulextra A further advantage of Bowen is that a number of cheap brands have Bowens mount. (Including those from Kaffebrus.com) It allows you to obtain inexpensive enhancement to Bowen. Purchased among others, a 170 cm oktaboks for about 1300 skr. there. ulextra Similarly, from the major manufacturers costs gladly 5 -7000 kr. I honestly can not see or experience any quality difference of di
