Xosé Manuel Budiño a piper from Galicia and born in Moaña. In the early 80s he studied at the school for pipers "Semente Nova" in his hometown Moaña. He was part of the group "Xarabal" xenon svetla and in 1991 he founded the group "Fol the Niu" on. Later he worked with Altan (Ireland), Capercaillie (Nacela) Oskorri (Basque Country), ... and with artists such as Kepa Junkera and Uxía Senlle. In 1996 he presented his first solo album, Paralaia. On this album he worked with Leandro Deltell (drums, percussion), One Hernández (bass), Pedro Pascual (bouzouki, mandolin), Xavier Díaz (accordion) and Pablo Alonso (bass clarinet).
