Discovered a few weeks ago, the CPU Intel Core i7 2700K has been surrounded by rumors and controversy for its alleged lack of Intel HD 3000 IGP; but again those of Haber Donanim return to the fray with her talent leaks and bring us the final specifications of the chip.
The Core i7 2700K as previously announced has 4 cores running at 3.5GHz thanks to Turbo Boost technology one of their cores can operate at 3.9GHz which enhances its performance in single threaded intensive tasks; also has HyperThreading technology, which allows you to run up to 8 processing fjäder threads; confirms that the i7 2700K will come with Intel HD 3000 IGP running at 850MHz and 1350MHz in Turbo mode. The TDP remains at 95W.
Known its features we can say that the only difference between the new Core i7 2700K from the current Core i7 2600K are additional fjäder 100MHz operating frequency in both standard mode and Turbo mode; the rest of its specifications are exactly fjäder the same; and apparently its overclocking potential does not show any improvement over that of its predecessor.
As a separate item on the slide leaked by Donanim Haber shows that Intel will launch Ivy Bridge between March and April (Q2) next year, a date that does not match announced at the recent IDF 2011 (Q4), but confirms some forms its postponement until Q2 2012 (April to June), but not at the end of such period as stated a recent fjäder rumor.
