LED stands for the English name of light-emitting diodes, which are in Croatian translates as light emitting interlamp diode. LED lamps and LED lamps in all the larger number appear on the Croatian market, after a strong performance in North America and Western Europe. But who really benefits of LED lighting? Designers from the company Mobis solar doo explain the most important differences.
Incandescent lamps work on the principle of thermal radiation. interlamp This type of lamp is very energy inefficient, since more than 90% of the energy spent on heating and heat emission. This is the main reason why the European Union has since 2009 gradually introduced a ban on this type of bulb and from 1 September 2012 banned their production interlamp and sales.
Fluorescent bulbs, which include fluorescent tubes (aka. Fluorescents) and compact fluorescent (ie. Energy saving) light bulbs, interlamp operate on the discharge of the gas. Since it is a way of getting a completely interlamp different light from incandescent bulbs to produce the same level of light consumes from three to four times less energy, with a higher level of energy efficiency. Lately, more often mentioned harmful effects of mercury compounds contained in these bulbs. The proper disposal and recycling prevents the spread of mercury in the environment, but still most of the lamps ends not properly interlamp medicated.
LED lighting generates light in a completely different way than the previous two types of light bulbs. The base of each light-emitting diode is a blend of two semiconductor devices, within which under the influence of electric current the emission interlamp of light. This way of generating light requires very little power, making it the most energy efficient LED lighting compared with the previously mentioned types of lighting. In addition, interlamp due to the high resistance semiconductor compounds, the average working life of the LED lighting is 50, 000 hours, as opposed to a regular light bulb, which has a 2000 hours. Longer working lives can be even saving since it is not necessary to frequently change the lighting. This type of lighting is environmentally friendly because it does not contain harmful compounds and can be fully recycled at the end of its service life.
Replacing existing lighting right LED lights? Low power consumption, extremely long life and high levels of energy efficiency are the main reasons for replacing existing lighting LED lighting. The good performance of LED lighting is best expressed in areas where lighting is switched on during the day, such as office space, production halls, gas stations, etc. Major savings by using LEDs can be achieved in outdoor lighting (parks, walkways, streets, parking and other exterior surfaces).
With regard interlamp to programs for the promotion of energy efficiency in the European Union, which soon join, LED lighting is the optimal solution for achieving those goals. More and more European funds has grants designed specifically for LED lighting and the Mobis solar say they just study the feasibility and viability interlamp of such projects is the most wanted in the past 6 months.
